Microblading course
ONLINE THEORY + IN-PERSON PRACTICE: The microblading (hair strokes)
course is where Amal teaches students how to create crisp, natural and realistic hair strokes with the manual microstroking technique. The theoretical part of this course is offered online and covers: color & skin theory, morphology, anatomy, techniques, necessary tools, proper sanitation and safety. Chapters end with a quiz. Students will practice on fake skin before getting the chance to work on live models, done under Amal’s supervision. After completing the course, students will receive a certificate of completion of beginners permanent makeup training once their 3-month follow-up is judged and approved by Amal. The cost of the microblading course is $2400+ taxes & comes with one free kit If you already have the permanent makeup base course certificate, the course is $2000+ taxes A $600 deposit is required in order to reserve the in-person practice dates
Important information
- The online theory can be completed at the student’s own pace, but must be completed prior to starting the in-person practice days.
- The number of days in person will be of 2 days (to be determined with the institute).
- In-person practice days take place in Montreal, at The Amal Institute located at 1202 Rue Fleury Est.
- The student must provide their own models (if they cannot, models will be provided with the help of the institute).
- All products used during the training will be provided by the institute.
- Certificate of technical and theoretical studies will be given at the end of the course.
- New graduates can immediately work in the field once they obtain their certificate.
- The certificate is recognized by the government of Quebec & is recognized by all insurance companies.

- Different micropigmentation techniques
- Color theory
- Study of pigments and materials

- Safety & hygiene
- Practice on several models
Microblading Free Kit Includes:
- 2 microblading pens
- 25 needles
- Elastic eyebrow ruler measuring tool
- Drawing pencil
- 3 pieces of fake skin
FULLY ONLINE COURSE: We also offer the option to complete the course online, without any in-person practice days. The student will complete everything online & will send to the institute each step for each part of the practice until they complete the final practice exam. There will also be a 3-month follow-up where the student’s work is judged and approved by Amal. The cost of the online microblading course is of $1900 + taxes
