Permanent Makeup: Eyeliner (Eyelid (lash line), regular top & bottom eyeliner)
(For private courses, maximum of 3 students)
ONLINE THEORY + IN PERSON PRACTICE: Obtain full knowledge of the permanent eyeliner makeup course (eyelid + regular top & bottom eyeliner). The theory part of this course is offered online and covers: color & skin theory, morphology, anatomy, techniques, necessary tools, proper sanitation and safety. Each chapter ends with a quiz. Students will practice on fake skin before getting the chance to work on live models, under Amal’s supervision. After completing the course, students will receive a certificate of completion of permanent makeup training once their 3-month follow-up is judged and approved by Amal.
The cost of the course is of $2000 + taxes A $600 deposit is required in order to reserve the in-person practice dates
Important information
- The online theory can be completed at the student’s own pace, as the student will have 6-month access to the courses. It is preferable to complete the theory courses prior to starting the in-person practice days.
- The number of days in person will be of 2 days (to be determined with the Institute).
- In-person practice days take place in Montreal, at The Amal Institute located at 1202 Rue Fleury Est.
- The student must provide their own models (The Institute will provide help if needed).
- All products used during the training will be provided by the institute.
- Certificate of technical and theoretical studies will be given at the end of the 3-month follow-up.
- New graduates can immediately work in the field once they obtain their certificate.
- The certificate is recognized by the government of Quebec & is recognized by all insurance companies.

- Anatomy, physiology of the skin and morphological analysis of the skin
- Different micropigmentation techniques
- Color theory
- Study of pigments and materials
- Skin theory
- Safety & hygiene
- Practice on several models
FULLY ONLINE COURSE: We also offer the option to complete the course online, without any in-person practice days. The student will complete everything online & will send to the institute each step for each part of the practice until they complete the final practice exam. There will also be a 3-month follow-up where the student’s work is judged and approved by Amal. The cost of the permanent eyeliner online course is of $1600 + taxes
